Our Entlebucher Breed

My obsession with the Entlebucher all began about seventeen years ago when our beloved family pet, Springer passed away. It took quite a while for my family and I to learn to cope with our loss. After about nine months I began to research different dog breeds. I visited breeders of many different types of dogs, but it was not until I had the pleasure of visiting a breeder of Entlebuchers that I made up my mind. I was instantly stricken with the warm personality, intelligence, and beautiful confirmation of the breed.
Before I left that day, I made up my mind that this was the breed for me. We took our dog, Glory, home with us that day and have never regretted it for a second.
Now, seventeen years later I am the proud owner of four beautiful dogs, each one very much like a child. They each have their own wonderful personality with different likes and dislikes. Now that Entlebuchers have become a part of my life, I couldn't imagine living without them. I have dedicated myself to promoting and protecting this wonderful breed. I have made it a point to take an active role in Entlebucher rescue efforts and am currently the local contact person for our region.
My husband and I brought a male puppy Yoltar over from Germany to help expand the gene pool in our area. We selected Yoltar for his excellent breeding, beautiful markings and friendly demeanor. He has become a very close member of our family.

As a breeder I have it my mission to promote BCOE breeding and educate dog owners on the value of supporting ethical breeding practices. Breeding these wonderful dogs has allowed we to share the joy of owning Entlebuchers with many other people. It has been my pleasure to give back to the breed, just a small portion of what the breed has given to myself and my family.
